Lenght: Km 2,5 (Round trips)
Difficulty: Beginners
Duration: Less then a 2 hours
Interesting: Nature - Cultural
The path begins at the Tourist Office in Piazza Garibaldi next to the 15th century church of St. Francis. With the office behind you, cross the square until you reach the 18th century Romanesque church of St. Maria. When you have come to the end of your visit, go downhill to leave by the mediaeval gate. Follow the road which bends to the left all the way downhill until you come to the museum of the 14th century church of St. Antonio which houses 2 important cycles of paintings. Of special note is the precious statue dedicated to Tobia and the Angel. This easy walk continues down the steps in front of the museum. Go down as far as the car park Leone XIII and cross it diagonally to reach the industrial buildings along the edge. When you get to the bend near the industrial buildings, turn left and walk as far as the wooden shelter near a disused, dome-shaped building. Once past the shelter cross the little wooden bridge as far as the play area and the cycle way. Go straight along the cycle way and then turn left to go under the flyover. When you get to the wooden bridge, cross it to reach the large meadow with the sports complex.
